  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 medium sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 cup colorful bell peppers, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup provolone or cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft (about 5 minutes).
  3. Increase heat to medium-high and add steak; cook until browned (3-4 minutes).
  4. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream while stirring; let simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese until melted; combine with cooked pasta.
  7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
