Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken breasts with minced garlic, oregano, feta cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marinate.
  3. Remove the mixture from the fridge and shape it into patties about ¾ inch thick.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F or 190°C) and lightly brush with olive oil.
  5. Grill patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
  6. Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings like lettuce and tzatziki sauce.
