  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  4. Fold in the cooked macaroni and half of the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  5. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray and pour in the meat-macaroni mixture. Spread evenly.
  6. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and drizzle with ketchup.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden brown. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
