  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms (chopped)
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp ketchup (for topping)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion and mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes until softened.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, sautéed veggies, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper using your hands.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Spread ketchup over the top for glazing.
  6. Bake for approximately 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
