  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Slice beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips. Chop broccoli into florets and mince garlic and ginger.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil; marinate while prepping other ingredients.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat until hot. Add marinated beef in a single layer; cook for 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove from wok.
  4. In the same wok, add broccoli, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green.
  5. Return the beef to the wok along with beef broth; stir until thickened (about 1-2 minutes). Serve over steamed rice or noodles.
