Description

Italian Garlic Bread Sloppy Joes are a delicious twist on the classic American favorite, combining the irresistible flavors of buttery garlic bread and savory ground beef.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 loaf garlic bread (pre-made or homemade)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion until translucent. Add the ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; let it simmer for about five minutes.
  4. Slice the garlic bread loaf horizontally and place it cut-side up on a baking sheet. Spoon the beef mixture onto each half.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meat mixture.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown. Serve immediately.
