- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chicken until golden brown and cooked through (6-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Add halved cherry tomatoes and cook until they slightly soften.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; reserve some pasta water before draining.
- Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet with tomatoes. Add drained pasta and fresh basil, stirring gently to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garnish with additional basil if desired, and serve hot.
