  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (fresh)
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water as per package instructions; simmer until thickened.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses until smooth.
  4. In a serving dish, spread the creamy mixture. Layer with seasoned beef, diced tomatoes, olives, remaining cheese, and top with green onions.
  5. Chill for an hour or bake at 350°F (175°C) until bubbly.
