This easy-to-make casserole combines creamy salmon and zesty Sriracha, layered atop sticky sushi rice for a delightful culinary experience. Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 nori sheets, cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Rinse sushi rice under cold water until clear and cook according to package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, mix diced salmon, mayonnaise, and Sriracha until well-coated.
  3. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked rice followed by half of the salmon mixture. Repeat with remaining rice and salmon.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes for a crispy top.
  5. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds on top before serving with nori strips.
