  • 2 lbs baby back pork ribs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Pat the pork ribs dry and remove any tough membrane from the back.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Place the ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet and cover tightly with foil. Bake for about 2.5 hours until tender.
  6. Remove from oven, brush BBQ sauce on both sides, and bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.
