  • 1/2 cup 100% pure pomegranate juice
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash green beans under cold water and trim the ends.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and plunge into ice water to stop cooking.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  4. Pour in pomegranate juice, balsamic vinegar, and honey; simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add blanched green beans to the skillet, tossing gently to coat in the glaze. Season with salt and pepper before serving warm.
