  • 1/2 cup pure honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather and chop garlic and green onions. In a large bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Add chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the chicken thighs, pour remaining marinade over them, and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
