  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt to the mixture, stirring until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Gently fold in chopped dill pickles and fresh dill.
  6. Grease a baking pan with olive oil, punch down the dough, and spread it evenly in the pan.
  7. Create dimples across the surface with your fingers; let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Drizzle additional olive oil on top along with salt and cracked pepper.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
