  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated (about 100g)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (about 100g)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Steam the chopped broccoli for 3-4 minutes until tender but bright green.
  3. In a large bowl, mix steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into bite-sized balls or patties and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Lightly spray each popper with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
