Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pre-made pie crust (9-inch)
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/4 tsp freshly grated nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease your pie dish.
  2. Place the pie crust in the dish and set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs until light. Gradually mix them into the milk mixture while whisking gently to avoid bubbles.
  5. Pour the custard mixture into the prepared crust and bake for 45-50 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly wobbly.
  6. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
