- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets

- 1 inch fresh ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry)
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
Instructions
- Slice the beef flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade. Toss beef in half of the marinade and let rest.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry broccoli for about 3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add remaining marinade and marinated beef. Cook until browned and cooked through (5-7 minutes).
- Return broccoli to skillet. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook for an additional minute until sauce thickens.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
