  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, cider vinegar, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
  2. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and add to the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Thread marinated chicken onto soaked skewers with space between each piece for even cooking.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400°F). Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  5. Grill skewers for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
