  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs (about 1.5 lbs)
  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and vegetable oil until combined.
  3. Marinate the chicken in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Place marinated chicken in a baking dish lined with parchment paper and pour remaining marinade over it.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and skin is golden brown.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
