Description
Juicy oven-baked chicken breasts coated in zesty ranch seasoning and served with a creamy ranch sauce. A quick, flavorful dinner perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or homemade)
1–2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika (regular or smoked)
Salt and pepper, to taste
½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
2–3 tbsp milk or buttermilk (to thin sauce)
Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
Mix ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Rub mixture evenly over chicken breasts. Place in baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake 25–30 minutes, until chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) internally.
While baking, whisk sour cream with milk to make a creamy sauce.
Let chicken rest 5 minutes, then drizzle with sauce and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Rest chicken for 5 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
Use bone-in or skin-on chicken if preferred (increase cooking time).
Add vegetables like zucchini or bell peppers to the pan for a one-dish meal.
Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 4 days; reheat gently to retain moisture.
