- 4 medium fresh artichokes
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Trim the tops off each artichoke and remove tough outer leaves. Rinse under cool water.
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Stuff the mixture between each leaf of the artichoke and into the heart.
- Place stuffed artichokes in an oven-safe dish with about an inch of water. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and tender.
