  • 1 cup warm water (110°F)
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley or rosemary), chopped
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water and yeast in a bowl; let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until shaggy.
  3. On a floured surface, knead dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  5. Punch down the dough, divide into equal portions, roll each into rounds about ¼ inch thick.
  6. Brush each flatbread with olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic and herbs.
  7. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook flatbreads for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
