Description

Caramel Apple Cheesecake is the ultimate fall dessert, harmoniously blending the rich creaminess of cheesecake with the sweet, tart flavors of fresh apples and decadent caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups tart apples (like Granny Smith), chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; press mixture into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar while mixing well; stir in vanilla extract and sour cream.
  4. Gently fold in chopped apples and cinnamon until evenly combined.
  5. Pour filling into crust and bake for about 60 minutes or until slightly jiggly in the center. Let cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
  6. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
