  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and carrots until softened (about 5 minutes).
  2. Add ground beef or lamb; cook until browned (7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, and beef broth. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Transfer mixture to the crockpot, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle frozen peas on top.
  5. Spread mashed potatoes over the meat mixture.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
